Your tasks
- Support and co-manage international innovation projects together with (Senior) Innovation Managers at ALDI Nord
- Pitch own ideas on front of the innovation board, further develop within the “innovation funnel” and thereby shape the future of discount
- Build up relevant innovation know-how by observing current market trends and new technologies on a global scale
- Ongoing refinement of the innovation process in close collaboration with the whole innovation team
- Establish and maintain a strong network with internal as well as external partners (start-ups, tech provider, corporates, VCs, etc.)
- Actively live an open and innovative company culture (especially hypothesis-driven and iterative thinking), enhancement of collaboration and ownership within ALDI Nord
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, STEM or equivalent field – innovation and/or strategic focus preferred
- First experience in the field of Corporate Innovation, Project Management, Strategy and/or within a start-up environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset and thought leader with passion for creative work and affinity for trends, innovations and new technologies
- Strong interest in (food) retail and/or FMCG sector
- Distinct knowledge of innovation methodologies is advantageous (e.g. design thinking, rapid prototyping)
- Ability to work under ambiguity and with high levels of perseverance in order to overcome internal resistance and establish new thought patterns
- Fluent in German and English
