Your tasks
- You develop data science solutions from experimentation to production and operation for procurement in a cross-functional team
- You are responsible for tailor-made data science solutions and therefore consulting the respective procurement processes
- You support procurement solutionsthrough data-driven consulting and knowledge exchange
- You provide training on methodology and central tools
- You gather and refine requirements from the operational business by collaborating with various stakeholder
- You are responsible for transforming the requirements in working software throughout the whole product lifecycle
- You visualize your results in an accessible way to procurement
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in mathematics, computer science, physics, business informatics or a comparable qualification
- Ideally several years of professional experience in the analysis of complex data sets and in the application of data science, machine learning, data mining and optimization methods
- Experience in (time series) forecasting, handling structured data, deriving features from data, skilful linking of data
- Expert in using common platforms, tools (e.g. Azure Databricks), languages (e.g. Python, SQL) and large data sets
- Experience in visualizing data and results in Python as well as PowerPoint, Excel or Power BI
- Ideally first experience in food retail in procurement
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Good communication and product management skills
- You are willing to work partly on site
