Das sind deine Aufgaben
- Extend and further develop our analytics product portfolio with focus on business needs
- Identify and explore new analytics ideas and data sources, combine and analyze external data with existing data in our data lake
- Utilize suitable algorithms to solve specific business questions in dedicated Proof-of-Concepts and validate the solutions with business subject matter experts
- Develop Data Science and Machine Learning solutions and deploy them into production on our Azure platform using Databricks, Azure ML and other services
- Optimize pipelines and models, document experiments in a modern framework (MLflow)
- Collaborate with various Stakeholders, Data Scientists and ML Engineers, and strengthen our Data Science Community
Das bringst du mit
- Successfully completed studies in the fields of mathematics, computer science, physics, business informatics or a comparable qualification
- Strong experience in consulting and proven record in advanced analytics projects
- Strong practical experience in exploring, visualizing, analyzing and creating insights from structured and unstructured data with statistical analysis, data science, machine learning, optimization methods
- Experience with common platform and tools for data science (e.g. Azure Databricks, Azure ML, Python, pySpark, SQL)
- Experience with agile software development methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)
- Preferably experience with retail business, particularly in international setup
- Very good written and spoken English, and highly preferably German skills
